Thank you for your interest in our recent GCF unpacked webinar, ‘GCF B.37 unpacked with GCF insight #24’. Welcome to your replay kit.
On Thursday 16 November we held this latest session of ‘GCF unpacked‘, where our specialists provided insights and analysis of the recent 37th Meeting of the Green Climate Fund Board (B.37).
GCF B.37, held in Tbilisi, Georgia, was the last board meeting of 2023. It paves the way for the beginning of GCF-2, the period of the second replenishment for the GCF. At B.37, the Board considered 15 new project proposals, approving them all – for a total of USD 736.4 million in GCF climate finance. Head of Consulting, Beverley Salmon, and Principal consultant, Marijan Gajšak, attended GCF B.37, and their first-hand learnings are included in this replay kit.
This kit also offers a concise exploration of our recent GCF insight publication. The twenty-fourth edition covers the impacts of and solutions to five common challenges experienced by GCF stakeholders, from NDAs to AEs and DAEs.
In this latest session, participants will have the opportunity to develop a bespoke understanding of the GCF’s current strategy, through our independent consulting lens. You will also learn more about our views on:
- Key issues emerging from GCF B.37, based on our attendance in Tbilisi
- Commons challenges amongst stakeholders, based on the recent 24th GCF insight
- How the GCF is evolving within the climate finance space;
- Influencing trends in the world of climate finance;
- Capacity-building, replenishment, private sector investment and more
