GCF insight #24 survey – Five common challenges in GCF funding access and project development

19 September 2023, Category: All insights, GCF insight, News, Tags: , , ,

Have your say in GCF insight #24.

Since the GCF’s operationalisation in 2015, we’ve followed the development of the Fund extremely closely, and discussed various aspects of project design through our GCF insight report series. In this 24th edition, we’re interested to hear your thoughts on five common challenges which impact the process of securing funding and developing projects with the GCF.

In this short survey, we are looking to gather information on how different stakeholders from different sectors are approaching these challenges, the impacts experienced, and how they might be solved. We kindly ask you to provide answers to the questions, giving as much detail as possible, where applicable.

This survey closes on Tuesday 26 September at 23:59 BST. It should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete and it is completely anonymous. We are deeply grateful for your time to contribute to our evolving understanding of the GCF. Please feel free to forward this to any NDAs, AEs or GCF project developers you may be working with.

GCF insight is our quarterly report, released to provide insight, analysis, and practical knowledge on certain topics that climate finance and development practitioners experience when working with the Green Climate Fund and on projects that are either up for approval or have been approved by the GCF.

This research is being conducted by E Co., a specialist consulting firm, as part of our learning resources from our training division, E Co. institute. E Co. is conducting this research independently, and is not affiliated with the Green Climate Fund, the GCF Secretariat or other donors.
