Innovations such as advanced cooling technologies, energy-efficient air conditioning units, and smart grid systems can help mitigate impacts and reduce the strain on energy resources during heat events. Urban heat mapping using remote sensing and geographic information systems (GIS) allows targeted interventions in heat-prone areas, enhancing the efficiency of response strategies.
