Nicola specialises in creating learning products for professionals, to help develop and advance their technical skills and knowledge. She has extensive experience collaborating with subject matter experts and instructional designers to ensure that learning experiences are engaging, relevant and provide meaningful, real-world impact. Over the past nine years, Nicola has worked in a variety of eLearning roles, covering the disciplines of design, editorial, product development, project management and customer experience. She has recently gained a Professional Diploma in Digital Learning Design.

In a nutshell, tell us about yourself:

My career in learning design sits at the intersection of two of my professional interests: people development and content development. I enjoy designing solutions that meet the needs of learners, as well as shaping experiences in a creative way. I am driven by meaningful and impactful work, and flourish in teams that champion diversity, collaboration and innovation.

How do you like to spend your weekends?

By spending time with my friends and family, practising yoga and exploring new places.

What would you desire most if stranded on a desert island?

Music!

What makes you laugh?

A trip to Fiji where I trekked through a rainforest and swam with manta rays.

What drives you to do this kind of work?

I’m passionate about creating impactful learning experiences that support professionals to develop their skills and feel more confident in their roles.
