Mariana Micozzi

In a nutshell, tell us about yourself.

I was born and grew up near Buenos Aires, Argentina. After many years, I moved to Berlin, Germany, and continued building up my career on topics related to
climate/sustainable finance and international relations. My work has been focused on, climate finance and policy analysis, G20/GCF negotiations and Latin American-German cooperation.

What are your loves?

My son, my husband and their amazing sense of humour. Sunny winter days in Berlin and springtime in Buenos Aires. Chocolate and dulce de leche ice cream.

What are your hates?

Unpunctuality, liquorice, polenta.

When are you happiest?

When cooking or baking, meeting with friends or relatives and visiting my country of origin.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?

Arrogance, and a lack of empathy.
