MBA – University of Buenos Aires
MSc – Non Profit Organizations – Universidad de San Andrés
BA – Social Sciences – Universidad Nacional de Quilmes
I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but grew up in Bahia Blanca, in Patagonia. I began studying ballet at an early age, and when I was 15, I was recruited to perform my first part in Swan Lake. When I was 19, I won a Fulbright Scholarship and moved to New York City to study at the School of American Ballet and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre.
I performed professionally with world-renowned ballet companies in the United States, Germany, Sweden, and Australia, and I travelled the globe.
At the age of 30, I left professional ballet to pursue a new career as an environmental advocate for Greenpeace International and Greenpeace Argentina. And I discovered the same passion that previously drove me to dance: the need to help against climate change.
I am not afraid to stay true to myself, even when the situation is challenging or complex.
I love my family, singing, dancing, exercising, movies, theater plays, operas, music, and nature.
The belief that we, as humans, are to blame for climate change and the certainty that if we work together, we can find a solution.
When I smell fresh coffee in the morning, when I take a cold shower after exercising, when I hear the wind blowing in vast Patagonia, when I go to the ballet, when I sing, and when I listen to my children giggle.
