Interning at E Co. has been an inspiring experience—one that’s enabled me to put my passion for sustainability into action. I was drawn to E Co. not just because of its mission to build a sustainably transformed world, but also because I wanted to explore the intersection between finance and sustainability.
However, through my internship, I’ve been exposed to a much broader spectrum of possibilities and gained a deeper understanding of this field’s incredible scope. From conducting data analysis to contributing to client deliverables, I’ve seen firsthand the extensive expertise and collaborative efforts that go into driving E Co.’s results. It’s been amazing to witness how every piece of work ties into creating positive, tangible change.
From day one, I’ve felt welcomed and supported as part of the team, and this encouragement has allowed me to contribute to projects while building on my existing skills, expanding my knowledge, and learning to use new software and tools.
The flexibility of the role—being able to work remotely while also visiting the London office—has also given me a great balance between independence and connection.
I think one of the most energising aspects of this internship has been the chance to collaborate with people from around the world. Working alongside individuals with diverse backgrounds and fresh perspectives has been eye-opening, and it’s shown me how global teamwork is essential for addressing sustainability challenges.
Each day, I look forward to applying what I’ve learned and continuing to contribute to a more sustainable future. This experience has not only helped me grow professionally but has also reinforced my belief in the power of collective action to create lasting, transformative change.
