26th GCF insight | ‘Designing projects for Small Island Developing States (SIDS)’
The scope of this twenty-sixth GCF insight report is to understand the unique circumstances that affect SIDS and how these are or are not being addressed through GCF finance and the GCF project modality. We are providing a view of the experiences of SIDS representatives in their search for funding and project development support In this webinar they explored:- The barriers SIDS face in accessing climate finance, including structural vulnerabilities, institutional capacity constraints, and the complexities of GCF processes.
- Findings from our 26th GCF Insight report, which captures the perspectives of SIDS representatives on funding accessibility and project development challenges.
