My parents are from a rural area of Bangladesh where we constantly witnessed the impact of flash floods and how climate change affects rural communities. During my master’s degree, I worked as a Research Assistant in salinity-prone coastal areas of Bangladesh, where rising salinity and limited freshwater availability impact women’s reproductive health. After witnessing the grassroots-level impact of climate change, I was always eager to contribute to climate change adaptation and mitigation initiatives, even on a small scale.
I began my career developing Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects, working with government ministries and donors to structure climate-resilient infrastructure projects. Subsequently, I finished my PhD researching Infrastructure Project Financing at the Queensland University of Technology. After my PhD, I eventually made my way into the climate financing arena, where I started applying my infrastructure project development experience in climate financing project development. I am now thrilled to work at E Co., surrounded by intelligent and capable colleagues focused on developing a sustainable world for our future generation.
Cairns is my most memorable holiday trip with its breathtaking Great Barrier Reef, lush forests, and diverse flora and fauna.
Developing a future generation of climate financing leaders from developing countries.
On a mountain with its crisp air, majestic peaks, and serene trails.
When I’m with friends and family in nature.
